90% real, 1% metal, 9% coffee

There's this part at the begining of the live version of the song Hometown Glory by Adele. She's introducing herself to the audience, and her voice slightly quavers.

I don't know why, but it makes her seem more human. And every time I hear it, it makes me feel more normal.

    An emergency call,
A rush for that oh-so-fantastic outfit,
Off the hook, over the muscles,
    Then out the door,
    Soaring to the scene.

    He lands, mask slightly askew,
The terrified eyes of the public,
    Begging him for the answer.

    Today he plays god.

    Time marches, flames cease.

He saves the day, defeats the villain.

The crowd goes wild, and he smiles,
    a wave of the hand,
    a nod of the head,
    thankyou.

His eyes glance down as a slight wind sends ripples through his cape,
And a real smile creeps across his face,
His hand stops waving, and his head stops nodding.
As the seam of his cape sits facing the crowd,
    he laughs.

Even superheroes put their cape on the wrong way sometimes.
